HOUSING REPAIR ASSISTANCE THROUGH nEWAYGO cOUNTY

Newaygo County is offering a grant program for residents needing water heaters, furnaces, plumbing, siding and roofing repairs. While water wells and septic systems are not included in that grant program, residents can apply for assistance through the Newaygo County Emergency Repair Program. There is also a possibility of a low-cost loan through the Drain Commission.
To see if you qualify go the Newaygo County website at newaygocountymi.gov. Under "County Departments" look for the "Community Services" and then "Home Repair Program". You can also email your questions to housing@newaygocountymi.gov.
